宜昌有世界上最大的水利发电站——三峡工程。三峡工程发电站的修建利国利民，它能发电，还能预防洪水……宜昌位于风景秀丽的三峡，城市里街道干净整洁，路边鲜花盛开，绿树成荫，城区还有很多美丽的公园和广场，成为市民娱乐休息的场所。现在宜昌正成为世界闻名的水电旅游城，吸引了很多的中外游客。
